Why is the PLATWALL made of PVC?
In 2010, when steel temporary enclosures were the mainstream in Japan, PLATWALL became the first PVC temporary enclosure to be launched in Japan.
Although PVC temporary enclosures were used overseas, they were rare in those days, and in recognition of their lightweight and rapid construction, they were registered in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s NETIS (new technology utilization system), and it was granted the “VE” ending as a technology that confirms its recognition as new technology (registration number KK-100047-VE. Currently, the 10-year publication period has expired, and its publication in the NETIS database has ended.)
The PLATWALL was originally used for temporary enclosures, but recently, it has been increasingly used as a building material in the civil engineering market. At the foundation of this design is the desire to reduce burden for users and to support the craftspeople who have been struggling with construction.
